Sewa Parv & Angikaar 2025 continues in full swing across Srinagar
Srinagar | : Sewa Parv 2025 and Angikaar 2025 celebrations are being observed with great enthusiasm across Srinagar city, marked by an array of citizen-centric initiatives aimed at fostering community spirit and inclusive urban development.
Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Fazlul Haseeb Thursday reviewed the on-ground activities and interacted with field teams to assess the progress of ongoing campaigns. He urged Ward officers to scale up efforts and ensure greater outreach for enhanced public participation.
Under Sewa Parv 2025, several activities are being organized across wards including plantation drives under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, cleanliness campaigns at public spaces and riverbanks, blood donation camps, and awareness programmes on environmental conservation, digital literacy, financial inclusion, and grievance redressal mechanis
Simultaneously, Angikaar 2025 is being implemented in mission mode with door-to-door awareness campaigns, PM Awas Melas, loan facilitation camps, enrolment drives, and fast-tracking of sanctioned housing units. The programme also integrates key government welfare schemes such as PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana and PM SVANidhi, supported by comprehensive IEC and social media campaigns.
Both initiatives have received an encouraging response from citizens, reflecting Srinagar’s shared commitment towards building a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive urban future.
