University of Jammu Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament 2025–26

Jammu: The Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament 2025–26, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education at the University of Jammu, has successfully entered its second day, showcasing thrilling performances and exceptional athleticism.
The tournament aims to foster a vibrant sports culture and enhance youth engagement in competitive sports. Day two featured intense matches where teams displayed remarkable agility, coordination, and strategic gameplay, captivating the audience with their physical endurance and tactical understanding of kabaddi. The results from the second day of matches highlighted several competitive encounters: GDC Kathua triumphed over GDC Udhampur by 17 points, GDC Doda defeated GDC Hiranagar by 22 points, and GDC Marheen edged out GDC Ramgarh by 2 points. Other notable results included GDC Chenani beating MBS College by 16 points, GCET Jammu overcoming UIET Kathua by 16 points, GDC Kunjwani winning against GDC Sunderbani by 15 points, GDC Poonch defeating GDC Gaghwal by 10 points, GDC Khour besting BDC Udhampur by 25 points, and MIET College winning against GDC Samba by 6 points. The tournament is being overseen by Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, the Director of the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, along with his dedicated team, who have ensured the event runs smoothly with a strong focus on discipline, fair play, and organizational excellence. The matches are officiated by a skilled technical panel, including Anil Sharma, Ajay Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma, Sh. Keshav Singh, S. Amandeep Singh, and Gagan Kumar, whose expertise has been crucial in maintaining the integrity and adherence to the rules of the game throughout the tournament.
