New Delhi| Sept,17 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership during a ceremony marking the inauguration and foundation laying of various projects on Modi’s birthday.
The Union Home Minister emphasized PM Modi’s decisive actions in national security, including securing borders, conducting surgical strikes, and the abrogation of Article 370, which granted special autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir. He criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for previously mocking the BJP regarding the Ram Mandir, highlighting that the temple has now been built and is celebrated globally. Shah noted that under Modi’s leadership, India has transformed from the 11th to the 4th largest global economy, with aspirations to become the third-largest by 2027. He attributed this growth to Modi’s dedication, stating that the Prime Minister has never taken a vacation during his tenure. Shah also highlighted Modi’s welfare initiatives, which have provided essential services such as housing, electricity, clean water, and healthcare to millions, lifting 25 crore people out of poverty. The Union Minister announced the celebration of Modi’s birthday as ‘Seva Pakhwada,’ a period dedicated to service, reflecting Modi’s commitment to the welfare of the poor. He detailed the extensive impact of Modi’s policies, which have benefited over 60 crore individuals. Shah concluded by acknowledging Modi’s lifelong dedication to serving India, tracing his political journey from joining the RSS in 1971 to becoming Prime Minister in 2014.
