Rajouri : Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has launched a five-day Induction Programme for newly admitted students across various academic programs.
The initiative aims to acclimate students to the University’s academic environment, ethos, and available opportunities, taking place simultaneously in three venues: the University Auditorium, IT Hall, and Biosciences Hall. During the inaugural session, Vice Chancellor Prof. Jawaid Iqbal welcomed the students, highlighting the University’s dedication to academic excellence, innovation, and inclusivity. Chief Guest Abhishek Sharma, the Registrar of BGSBU, congratulated the students on their admission and underscored the institution’s reputation for quality education and holistic development. He stressed the significance of discipline, dedication, and curiosity in shaping students’ personalities and preparing them for future challenges. Sharma also pointed out the diverse opportunities at BGSBU, encouraging students to leverage the University’s resources for academic, research, and extracurricular growth. He urged active participation in the Induction Programme, which is designed to provide insights into academic regulations, career development, and essential values such as teamwork and leadership. He emphasized that the relationships and experiences gained during this time would be invaluable throughout their lives.
