Srinagar : The weather forecast indicates no significant weather activity until September 23, with generally fair conditions expected.
Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Director Meteorological Department, on Monday said that for the next two days, light rain may occur in some areas, accompanied by brief intense showers. On September 18 and 19, scattered light rain and thunder are anticipated, with moderate showers possible late on the 18th and early on the 19th. From September 20 to 23, dry weather is expected, and overall, no significant changes are predicted during this period. Additionally, the Meteorological Department has issued an advisory regarding the potential for landslides and falling stones in vulnerable areas. Farmers are encouraged to continue with the harvesting of paddy and other agricultural activities during this time.
