Srinagar: The Kulgam Police, as part of their Civic Action Program organized on Friday a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour for 83 students from the district, aimed at enhancing police-public relations and providing youth with growth opportunities.
The tour was officially launched by SSP Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal, in the presence of senior police officials. During the event, SSP Sarangal emphasized the importance of the initiative, encouraging students to embrace the chance to explore India’s cultural and geographical diversity while fostering values such as unity, peace, and national integration. The fully sponsored tour by J&K Police includes comprehensive logistics, covering air travel, comfortable accommodations, guided tours, and air-conditioned transport. The itinerary features visits to significant locations in New Delhi and Chennai, where students will engage with historical sites, educational institutions, and industrial units, providing them with a rich understanding of India’s heritage and contemporary advancements. Each participant received a travel kit to ensure their comfort throughout the journey.
