Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday expressed profound gratitude to Vijay Chopra, Padma awardee and Editor of Punjab Kesari/Hind Samachar Group, for his generous contribution of Rs 11 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in support of the flood-affected families.
The Chief Minister said that such contributions reflect the spirit of solidarity and compassion that is vital in times of crisis. “I sincerely thank Vijay Chopra for this generous gesture. His contribution will strengthen our ongoing efforts to provide relief and rehabilitation to families affected by the devastating floods. It is through such collective efforts that we can bring hope and support to those in distress,” the Chief Minister stated. He added that the Government is committed to ensuring that every contribution is channelled towards meaningful assistance for the affected families.
