Srinagar: Department of Neurology, Superspeciality Hospital, Shireen Bagh, GMC Srinagar Wednesday organized a Neurology Health Camp at Damhal Hanjipora, Kulgam.
The camp aimed to raise awareness about neurological diseases and provide early diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. Patients were offered free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic services, ensuring that quality healthcare reached those in need.
More-than 400 patients suffering from various neurological ailments benefitted from the camp.
As part of the initiative, the department conducted several electrophysiological tests such as Electroencephalography (EEG) to aid in accurate diagnosis of conditions like epilepsy, headaches, neuropathies, stroke, and other neurological disorders.
