SSP G’bal chairs crime & security review meeting

Srinagar : SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal on Wednesday chaired a Crime & Security review meeting at the DPO Ganderbal Conference Hall, attended by senior officers, GOs, and SHOs from various police stations.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the New Criminal Laws (NCL), with an emphasis on raising public awareness about their benefits. SSP Ganderbal instructed officers to utilize these laws effectively to ensure justice, highlighting a victim-centric approach to benefit individuals. Additionally, the SSP called for intensified efforts to combat drug-related issues and cybercrimes, while also stressing the importance of timely resolution of pending UAPA and NDPOLICE STATION cases. Officers provided updates on the security situation in their areas, and the SSP discussed strategies to address challenges from adversaries. He underscored the need for close coordination with other security forces and directed field units to refrain from engaging in land sale and purchase matters. The meeting ended with the SSP commending the officers for their commendable work.
