DHSJ reviews implementation of Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in Jammu Region

Jammu: A meeting on Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was convened Wednesday under the chairmanship of Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar.
The meeting was attended by State Tuberculosis Officer (STO) Jammu Dr. Jyoti Jolly; Programme Manager NTEP Dr. Jitender Mehta; Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) and District Tuberculosis Officers (DTOs) of Jammu Division.
While addressing the participants, the Director Health laid special emphasis on coordination between CMO Offices and DTO office on daily basis to facilitate quality sample collection from periphery to the NAAT facilities (DMC).
He further stressed on regular and timely updating of data on the Nikshay portal with uploading of all previous offline data; immediate initiation of treatment for all diagnosed patients; enhancement of presumptive testing to ensure achievement of the assigned targets and timely disbursal of ASHA Incentives.
The meeting concluded with directions to all concerned officers to ensure strict compliance with the discussed points for effective implementation of the programme.
