Rajouri: A three-day District Process Lab Training Programme, under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, commenced Monday at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. The training programme, being held from September 08 to 10, is designed to build the capacity of field staff to strengthen governance and development initiatives in tribal areas.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma.
In his address, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the shared responsibility of all stakeholders in uplifting tribal areas. He emphasized that meaningful outcomes can only be achieved through concerted efforts and collaboration to bridge gaps in key development indicators.
Reiterating the district’s vision for tribal empowerment, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the need to create self-reliant, resilient and inclusive communities across all 104 tribal villages of Rajouri. He underlined that ensuring every household benefits from government schemes will significantly improve governance outcomes and foster holistic tribal development.
The training programme places special focus on capacity-building through skill development workshops, interactive sessions, and the implementation of the Dharti Aabha Plan for sustainable and inclusive tribal growth. It also emphasizes grassroots participation by involving Aadi Karmayogis, Aadi Sahyoogis and Aadi Saathis in the effective execution of welfare schemes and programmes.
Serving as a platform to align strategies and build the capacities of frontline staff, the three-day District Process Lab is expected to ensure last-mile delivery of services and promote inclusive growth in tribal areas.
The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Auqil Nuvaid; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Sheraz Chowhan; District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Raheem; Chief Agriculture Officer, Madan Gopal Singh; Chief Medical Officer, Dr Manohar Rana and other officers and officials.
