Srinagar : In a swift response, a police team from Police Division Awantipora along with civil administration on Saturday safely shifted the family residing near the bund constructed on the canal which developed cracks at Katipora Chersoo, due to rising floodwaters.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that the family has been shifted to the safer place, Stating therein further that timely intervention averted probable untoward incident and ensured the safety of the affected family.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement police assured the people of full support and appealed people to remain cautious.
