DC Reasi reviews arrangements for Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi

Reasi: To finalize the necessary arrangements in connection with ensuing Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi, a meeting of the District Officers was held Thursday under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik here in the Video Conference Hall DC Office Complex.
The Deputy Commissioner held detailed discussions on the arrangements, especially the availability of adequate drinking water supply and power supply, provision of medical facilities, Fire safety, besides proper sanitation in the city.
DC Nidhi Malik directed the ADC to deploy magistrates during the festival. She further directed the JPDCL department to ensure adequate power supply during the celebrations. She also asked the PHE department to take measures for adequate supply of drinking water. The Municipal authorities were directed to conduct special cleanliness and sanitation drives in the towns.
The Chief Medical officer was directed to keep available Medicare facility at the venues of processions. The District Police was asked to deploy adequate police personnel at the route of procession and ensure effective traffic regulation.
