DC, SSP Rajouri inspect landslide clearance work on National Highway

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, along with Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Sikarwar, Wednesday inspected the National Highway to review the situation arising due to heavy rainfall in the district.
During the inspection, the DC issued strict directions for the immediate clearance of landslides to ensure smooth traffic movement and uninterrupted connectivity along the vital road link.
To comprehensively assess the situation, the DC directed Sub Divisional Administrations to deploy teams to evaluate rain induced damages. The district administration is closely monitoring the ground situation to ensure timely restoration of essential services and to provide necessary assistance to affected residents.
The Deputy Commissioner also appealed to the public to exercise caution and follow advisories issued by the district administration in view of the prevailing weather conditions.
