Srinagar,/Sept, 3 : In view of inclement weather conditions, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Wednesday ordered the closure of all schools and colleges across Kashmir division for the day.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Divisional Commissioner Kashmir said that the step has been taken purely as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Meanwhile heavy raiins in the morning till late forenoon hours at several places across the Valley amid increasing waterlogging, caused flood threat scare amid disruption in road connectivity across Kashmir. Authorities have appealed people to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.
