‘Entry gate of Stadium remains open for public during daytime’
Udhampur : In response to the allegations circulated in social media” regarding inconvenience caused by vehicles parked outside the entry gate of the Subash Stadium, Stadium Manager Suraj Bhan Singh issued a formal clarification.
In a statement, In-Charge/Manager, Subash Stadium Udhampur said “The information suggesting that the stadium’s entry gate remains closed during the day is factually incorrect. The gate remains open for the public throughout daytime hours, ensuring uninterrupted access for athletes, visitors and staff. The gate is only closed during night time hours as part of standard safety protocol. This is managed by on-site security personnel who are deployed round-the-clock to ensure the safety and proper functioning of the premises.”
The Manager has urged social media platforms and users to exercise responsibility and verify facts before publishing such claims, as misinformation can lead to unnecessary confusion and misrepresentation of public infrastructure.
