Ganderbal : The School of Education at the Central University of Kashmir organized a career counseling interaction for students from Hyderia Model School at the Tulmulla campus.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A Ravinder Nath, initiated the session by engaging students in a discussion about their career aspirations. He emphasized the importance of understanding various educational pathways, including General, Technical, Vocational, Professional, and Liberal Education, while considering the unique socioeconomic backgrounds of First, Second, and Third Generation learners. He encouraged students to be intellectually vibrant and socially responsible, highlighting that passion and dedication are key to achieving success in any discipline. Prof. Syed Zahoor Ahmad Geelani, Dean and Head of the School of Education, motivated students to dream big and work diligently to turn their aspirations into reality. Asst. Prof. Dr. M.S. Bhat shared insights on personal growth, stating that self-awareness is crucial for success and that a willingness to learn and question is essential for continuous development. Sr. Asst. Prof. Dr. Firdous Ahmad Sofal discussed concepts related to character and education, urging students to set high goals and strive towards achieving them.
