Srinagar | : In continuation of the ongoing awareness drive under ‘Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan,’ a series of impactful programmes were organized on Tuesday by the Cultural Unit Srinagar, Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) in collaboration with leading educational institutions of Srinagar.

The awareness events were held at Government Girls High School Harwan Srinagar, Police Public School Bemina Srinagar, RP School Nagabal, and Crescent Public School Naseem Bagh Srinagar.

Each programme featured thought-provoking and theme-based short plays performed by local artists’ groups, highlighting the ill effects of drug abuse and the collective responsibility of society to combat this menace.

The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and staff members, culminating in a pledge ceremony where all present vowed to contribute towards building a drug-free, healthy, and progressive Jammu & Kashmir.

The initiative further strengthens the mission of creating a socially aware, responsible, and empowered youth, in line with the vision of a Nasha Mukt J&K.
