1. LG Monitors Relief In Kishtwar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reviewed rescue and relief operations in Chashoti, Kishtwar after flash floods, assuring reconstruction of damaged homes and uninterrupted essential supplies.
2. CM Visits Kishtwar, Announces Ex-Gratia: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited flood-hit Kishtwar, met affected families, and announced ex-gratia from the CM’s Relief Fund: ?2 lakh for deceased, ?1 lakh for severely injured, and financial aid for damaged structures. He also directed immediate restoration of infrastructure.

August 15| LG’s Call For Inclusive Growth On Independence Day: On the 79th Independence Day, LG Manoj Sinha called for ensuring that no individual or village is left behind in the journey of peace and progress.
