Jammu | : Police in Jammu on Monday said that exemplifying its commitment to public safety and child welfare, Police Station Pacca Danga under the leadership of Inspector Rakesh Mani successfully traced and reunited two minor girls with their families.
In a statement issued from the District Police Office, Jammu Police said that during routine patrolling and checking in the jurisdiction of Pacca Danga, officials found two minor girls, residents of Jammu, wandering in the area without any guardian and on inquiry, both revealed their identities and residential details.
Stating that the parents of the said girls were immediately contacted and called to the police station Police in its statement further said that after due verification of their identity and relationship through proper documentation, the minors were safely handed over to their respective families in the presence of police officials and witnesses. In the concluding para of its above quoted statement Police reiterated its commitment to safety and protection of children, ensuring their well-being through timely and sensitive intervention in such cases.
