SRINAGAR: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries to several persons in Kathua due to cloudburst and landslide incidents.
The Minister said that this heart-breaking tragedy has shaken every conscious soul of J&K and left several families devastated. She extended her heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, praying for their courage and strength to bear the irreparable loss. She also prayed for speedy recovery of injured souls.
“Words fall short in moments of such grief. My thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost their loved ones”, Sakeena said.
The Minister further highlighted that the administration has been mobilised to provide immediate relief and assistance to all the affected families. She added that the Government stands hand in hand with the affected families and remains to committed to ensure their timely relief and rehabilitation.
