CG Homeguards CD SDRF J&K grants commendation certificates, cash reward to Civil Defence Wardens/ volunteers in Srinagar

Srinagar | :  On the occasion of Independence Day-2025, Alok Kumar, Commandant General Homeguards, Civil Defence & SDRF J&K granted commendation certificates along with cash reward in favour of Civil Defence Wardens/ volunteers for outstanding performance during day to day Civil Defence activities and exigencies arising from time to time in their respective districts/ towns.

The commendation certificates were distributed among these Wardens/ Volunteers by the Commandant General during a function organized for celebration of Independence Day at Srinagar which was attended among others by Director HG Kashmir, Director CD/SDRF Kashmir, Commandant SDRF 1st Bn Srinagar, Staff Officer to Commandant General HG, CD & SDRF J&K, DySP, NGOs and others.

The commendation certificates along with cash reward were granted to Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu; Swaran Singh,  Chief Warden Civil Defence Doda; Jahangir Mir, Chief Warden Civil Defence Poonch; Dr. Anayat Mir,  Chief Warden Civil Defence Baramulla; Imtiyaz Hussain,  Chief Warden Civil Defence Pulwama; Sanjay Gupta,  Deputy Chief Warden Civil Defence Samba; Kapil Dev Sharma,  Divisional Warden Civil Defence Kathua; Kuldeep Kour,  Divisional Warden Civil Defence Town Akhnoor; Rahi Reyaz Ahmad,  Divisional Warden Civil Defence Srinagar; Imtiyaz Ahmad,  Divisional Warden Civil Defence Srinagar; Dr. Itinderpal Singh Bali,  Divisional Warden Civil Defence Baramulla; Bashir Ahmad Mir,  Divisional Warden Civil Defence Baramulla; Manzoor Javed and  Divisional Warden Civil Defence Anantnag.

Besides, Jatinder Singh,  Post Warden Civil Defence Rajouri; Kewal Krishan, Deputy  Post Warden Civil Defence Udhampur; Gopal Sharma,  Deputy  Post Warden Civil Defence Town Nowshera; Gulshan Singh, Sector Warden  Civil Defence Town Sunderbani; Dawood Niyaz,  Sector Warden  Civil Defence Budgam; Bashir Ahmad Dar, Volunteer Civil Defence Srinagar; Sajad Ahmad Lone,  Volunteer Civil Defence Baramulla; Shahnawaz Ahmad Lone,  Volunteer Civil Defence Kupwara; Shabir Ahmad Sheikh,  Volunteer Civil Defence Town Awantipora; Syed Mumtaz Shah,  Volunteer Civil Defence Town Uri and Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Head of “Save Youth Save Future” Organization District Baramulla were also granted commendation certificates and cash reward.
