Srinagar | : Cultural Unit Srinagar of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), in collaboration with the district administration Srinagar, Tuesday organised an awareness programme at Crescent Public School, Naseem Bagh under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan.
The programme was presided over by Principal, Junaid-ul-Shabar Khan and attended by students, faculty members, and officials of the Information Department.
Cultural Officer, Burhan Hussain addressed the gathering, underlining the critical need to protect youth from the threat of drug abuse and calling for united efforts to foster a healthy and drug-free society.
Participants took a formal anti-drug pledge, vowing to stay away from harmful substances and to serve as ambassadors of awareness in their respective communities.
The event featured cultural performances, motivational talks, and interactive discussions aimed at strengthening the resolve towards a responsible and substance-free lifestyle.
