Rajouri | : The District Administration Rajouri Monday organised a bike rally from Nowshera tunnel to Jhangar near the Line of Control as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma flagged off the rally from Nowshera Bridge. It culminated at the memorial of Brigadier Mohammad Usman in Jhangar, paying tribute to the soldier known as the “Lion of Nowshera.”
The rally saw participation from the public, with riders passing through various localities where citizens, school children and institutions welcomed them along the route. The event featured tricolour flags, slogans and expressions of national pride.
Similar rallies and patriotic activities were organised in institutions across the district under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to promote unity and respect for the national flag.
The campaign in Rajouri continues to encourage citizens to display the Indian flag at their homes and take part in celebrations leading up to Independence Day 2025.
