Budgam | : As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat  Monday flagged off a  Tiranga Bike Rally from the DC Office Budgam.

The event witnessed overwhelming participation from enthusiastic bikers, youth volunteers, government officials, and members of civil society, all proudly carrying the National Flag.

Riders, adorned with the Tricolour, traversed through key routes of Budgam town, drawing the attention of locals and inspiring patriotic fervour.

Raising spirited slogans of “Mere Jaan Tiranga Hai”, the rally echoed with a sense of unity and pride.

The participants showcased their commitment to the ideals of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, urging the public to hoist the National Flag at their homes and actively join the district-wide celebrations.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, the DC said that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is a celebration of the collective spirit of the nation.

He highlighted that the Tricolour is a symbol of our unity, sacrifice, and progress, and called upon all citizens to participate with full enthusiasm.

He further added that such events not only strengthen patriotic feelings but also bring communities together in the true spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

DC said that rallies are part of a larger series of patriotic activities being organised across all sub-divisions of Budgam district. These include Tiranga-themed rangoli making, rakhi making competitions, cultural performances, and flag hoisting at Amrit Sarovars.

He said that similar programmes have been reported from Blocks Narbal, Charisharief, Surasyar, S.K. Pora, B.K pora , chadoora , beerwah and others, with local residents and students actively taking part in colourful and creative expressions of patriotism.

The programme concluded with bikers and participants dispersing after completing the route, their voices still resounding with the heartfelt slogan “Mere Jaan Tiranga Hai” ,leaving behind a wave of patriotic enthusiasm in the air.
