Ganderbal |: The Cultural Unit Srinagar of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), District Information Office Ganderbal, in collaboration with the District Administration Ganderbal, Monday organised a series of cultural programmes aimed at generating awareness and promoting the message of a drug-free society under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan.
The first programme was organised at Panchayat Ghar Gogjigund Shairpathri, Block Ganderbal, while the second programme was held at Panchayat Ghar Tulmulla, Ganderbal.
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, students, and members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions.
Artists from the Cultural Unit presented theme-based songs, skits, and performances to highlight the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage the youth to lead a healthy and productive life. The programmes were part of the ongoing efforts of the administration to curb the menace of drug addiction through community involvement and cultural outreach.
