Srinagar |: In pursuance to the calendar of activities issued by the Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, a special Lok Adalat for amicable settlement of Traffic challans & other civil cases is scheduled to be held on 23rd August 2025 at the District Court Complex, Srinagar and at Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Panthachowk, Srinagar.
It is further notified for the information of the general public and the legal fraternity that the LokAdalat earlier scheduled to be held on 26th July 2025 for the disposal of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) cases, Matrimonial cases, and Bank recovery matters shall now also be held on 23rd August 2025 along with the above mentioned matters.
All concerned learned Advocates and litigant parties who are willing to settle their cases amicably through this Lok Adalat mechanism are encouraged to approach the respective courts well in time to facilitate listing and settlement of their matters.
This initiative aims to promote timely and peaceful resolution of disputes, reduce the burden of litigation, and provide expeditious justice to the public.
