Udhampur | : As part of the national wide campaign a mega saturation camp of financial inclusion schemes at the Gram Panchayat level was organized at Village Jakhar, Polytechnic College Udhampur.
The camp was attended by Vibha Gupta, Deputy General Manager, FIDD, RBI, Ram Swaroop, Deputy General Manager, FIIDD, RBI, Meetesh Sharma, Assistant General Manager, FIDD, RBI, Amandeep, Manager RBI, Jayant Mani, Deputy General Manager, SBI, Ravinder Singh, Assistant General Manager, SBI, C. M. Bhatt, Assistant General Manager (FI), SBI, Naresh Kumar, Cluster Head, J&K Bank and representatives of other banks.
The event saw enthusiastic participation of public in large number signifying strong community engagement towards strengthening financial literacy and inclusion. They sensitize the participants and public about the financial inclusion schemes viz Re-KYC of account holders, updating account nominations, enrolment under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and Awareness campaigns on digital fraud prevention and cyber security etc.
The initiative aimed to promote financial inclusion, improve record compliance and enhance digital and financial awareness at the grassroots level. The coordinated efforts of all participating banks and the support of senior dignitaries played a vital role in the successful execution of the programme.
