Srinagar | : DIG SKR Anantnag Javid Iqbal Matoo on Tuesday flagged off a Bharat Darshan tour for a group of 80 students from various schools in Anantnag.
The flag-off ceremony took place at District Police Lines Anantnag, attended by SSP Anantnag Amritpal Singh and other officials, who expressed their best wishes to the participants. This educational tour, part of the Civic Action Programme by Jammu and Kashmir Police, aims to expose students to India’s rich cultural heritage and development. It serves as an opportunity for youth to learn about the history and progress of different regions, promoting unity and national pride. During the event, DIG SKR highlighted the significance of such exposure visits in shaping students’ personalities and instilling values like discipline, confidence, and patriotism.
