Srinagar| Aug, 4 : Group of Concerned Citizens, J&K( GCC) has expressed profound sorrow at the passing away of a fellow Member Mr. G.A. Peer, former Commissioner– Secretary who served the state in various capacities as a civil servant 1977 onwards.
The GCC described Peer as an outstanding officer who loved to work close to the people and always tried to alleviate their problems and suffering. G. A. Peer was an officer of high integrity, intellect and knowledge and uncommonly hard working and that Jammu and Kashmir administration has lost one of its best, said a GCC statement issued here today. GCC members have also expressed their deep sympathies with the bereaved family and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Mrs Peer and their two sons Basharat Peer and Wajahat Peer.
