DC Poonch discusses arrangements for Har Ghar Tiranga campaign 2025
Poonch : Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal Saturday convened a comprehensive meeting of officers of line departments to review and discuss the arrangements for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign 2025 in the district.
Speaking at the meeting, the DC informed that a series of activities, events and competitions will be organized under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the spirit of independence and patriotism.
Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign 2025 is aimed to scale up public participation across all panchayats, urban wards, educational institutions and prominent locations. The celebrations shall commence from 2nd to 15th August in three phases.
In the first phase which shall be held from 2nd to 8th August, the activities will involve decorating of school walls, display of exhibitions; organizing Tiranga Rangoli competitions across schools, colleges, public places and other activities.
During the 2nd phase to be held from 9th to 12th August, a big event- Tiranga Mela, Tiranga Concert will be held besides selfie-booths. Tiranga bike rally is also to be organized during the 2nd phase.
The 3rd and last phase (13th to 15th August) will witness flag hoisting ceremonies and lighting of government buildings, educational institutions, hotels, offices, bridges etc will be done.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative aims to instill a deep sense of patriotism among citizens, foster respect for the National Flag and promote awareness about national symbols.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Principal Degree Colleges, ASP, CEO PDA, ACR, ACD/CEO MC, ACP, DIO NIC, District Information officer, Executive Engineers of JPDCL and Jal Shakti, DSWO, ARTO, Tehsildars, BDOs and other officers from line departments.
Distt Admin Udhampur organizes series of events under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign
Udhampur : As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav), the District Administration Udhampur, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, hosted a series of activities with the involvement of school students.
The events were held at Government Higher Secondary School Khaned, GHSS Bupp and GHSS Lander.
The aim of these events was to instill a deep sense of patriotism among students and the general public and to generate awareness regarding the significance and protocol of the National Flag.
A Tiranga rally held at GHSS Khaned witnessed enthusiastic participation of students and staff who marched with the National Flag, raising slogans of unity and patriotism.
Quiz Competitions were conducted focusing on the history, symbolism and flag code related to the Indian National Flag. These competitions not only tested the knowledge of the students but also served as an educational platform to spread awareness about the Flag Code of India, including the material, dimensions and usage protocol of the Tricolour.
DC Reasi reviews arrangements for Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025
Reasi: In preparation for the upcoming ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign 2025, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik convened a comprehensive meeting with officers from all line departments to discuss arrangements for the smooth and effective execution of the campaign in the district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Narinder Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nitin Verma, Assistant Commissioner Development Vijay Kumar, CEO, CMO, and other senior officials from key departments.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner informed that the campaign will be observed from August 2 to August 15 in three distinct phases as a part of the nationwide Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. A wide range of cultural programs, awareness drives, and competitions will be organized to foster a spirit of patriotism and civic responsibility among the citizens.
In the first phase, schools and colleges have been instructed to decorate their premises, including walls and boards, with Tiranga-inspired artwork. Activities like Tiranga Rangoli, Tiranga Rakhi making, and patriotic quiz competitions will be held in educational institutions to engage students creatively. The NIC has been directed to update all district-level websites with Har Ghar Tiranga themes and related links.
The second phase will include Tiranga rallies and yatras across all blocks, lighting of public areas, decorating local markets, a Tiranga bike rally, and Tiranga melas at the district, subdivision, and block levels.
The third phase will focus on public participation with initiatives like ‘Selfie with Tiranga’, flag hoisting ceremonies, and illumination of government buildings to mark the culmination of the celebrations.
DC Malik underlined that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aims to instill a deep sense of patriotism, promote awareness about national symbols, and encourage citizens to hoist the National Flag with pride and dignity. She also stressed the importance of following the Flag Code of India and directed the CEO and GDC Principals to incorporate awareness sessions on the Flag Code in morning assemblies.
The Deputy Commissioner urged all departments to finalize preparations at the earliest and work in close coordination to ensure the successful implementation of the campaign. She added that the district administration is fully committed to making the event a grand success.
DC Rajouri reviews preparations for Tiranga Campaign 2025
Rajouri: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma Saturday chaired a meeting in his office chamber to review the preparations for the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025. The campaign is aimed at fostering patriotism and celebrating the spirit of Independence Day across the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Education Officer to organise competitions in all 1983 government and private schools of the district, including Government Degree Colleges (GDCs), Private GDCs, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), and Pahari Hostels. He emphasized the importance of Tiranga-themed wall paintings across educational institutions to create a visually vibrant patriotic environment.
Special focus was laid on organizing Rangoli competitions in schools, particularly in PM Schools, and promoting Tiranga Rakhi-making activities. He stressed on ensuring active participation of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and private schools in the campaign.
The DC also instructed officers to identify prominent locations at the district headquarters for setting up Har Ghar Tiranga Selfie Booths. He asked concerned departments to ensure the timely uploading of event details on the dedicated government portal.
To further instill a sense of national pride, the DC proposed organising Tiranga Bike Rallies with the involvement of NSS and NCC cadets. Instructions were also issued to illuminate and decorate significant public buildings, government offices, bridges, and heritage structures with the Tricolour theme.
The Deputy Commissioner called upon all stakeholders to work in close coordination to make the Tiranga Campaign 2025 a grand success, reflecting the collective spirit of patriotism across the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioners—Tanveer Ahmed (Kalakote), Dil Mir (Kotranka) Chander Parkash (Rajouri), Ramkesh Sharma (Sunderbani), Pritam Lal Thapa (Nowshera), and SDM Thanamandi Abid Hussain joined the meeting virtually.
Among others, ACR Rajouri Mohammad Jahangir Khan, ACD Auqib Naveed, CEO Iqbal Hussain, and DIO NIC Muzaffar Mir were present in the meeting.
