Anantnag : District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Anantnag Saturday organised a one-day programme on ‘Capacity Building on Entrepreneurship’ under the flagship Mission YUVA Initiative at Government Polytechnic College, Larkipora.
The event was graced by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Anantnag, Sandeep Singh Bali, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Programme witnessed active participation from officers of ITI, JKEDI, and the host institution, in addition to enthusiastic youth from across the district.
It served as a dynamic platform to inspire and equip aspiring entrepreneurs through various interactive and practical segments. Key highlights of the programme included, hands-on training on the Mission YUVA mobile application, one-on-one counselling sessions tailored for budding entrepreneurs, stall-based exhibitions showcasing entrepreneurial ventures and support schemes, live demonstrations and interactions with field experts.
In his address, ADDC lauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of youth empowerment through entrepreneurship. He urged young participants to leverage Mission YUVA and similar platforms to transform their ideas into viable businesses, thus contributing to the local economy.
Employment Officer, Rayees Iqbal highlighted the overview & objectives of Mission YUVA and the department’s commitment to fostering a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in Anantnag.
DE&CC Anantnag remains steadfast in its efforts to connect youth with opportunities, resources, and guidance through Mission YUVA.
