Samba | : District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba Rajesh Sharma Thursday chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation and progress achieved under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district. The meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.
At the outset, Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Rakesh Khajuria presented a detailed overview of the progress achieved across various sectors under the HADP. He highlighted the key interventions being made to promote agricultural sustainability and rural development.
The DDC reviewed and discussed the list of feasible beneficiaries who had applied through the HADP portal for availing Agriculture and allied Departments schemes. A total of 268 beneficiaries have been approved under various components of the programme in the district, the meeting was told.
The DDC emphasized the need for inter-departmental coordination and community involvement to ensure timely implementation of the schemes and tangible results on the ground. He urged all stakeholders to work collectively towards the shared goal of transforming the agricultural landscape of Samba district.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Samba Champa Devi Thakur, GM DIC, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, AD Fisheries and other members of the committee.
