DC B’gam reviews arrangements for upcoming Indian Army Recruitment Rally

DC directs seamless coordination, logistics, security, sanitation & public facilitation at the venue

Budgam | :  Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, Tuesday convened a high-level meeting at the New Conference Hall, DC Office Budgam, to review and finalize arrangements for the Indian Army Recruitment Rally scheduled to be held at the JAK LI Regiment Centre, Rangreth Srinagar.

During the meeting, department-wise responsibilities were discussed. All the logistics support such as electricity, water supply, availability of buses, security arrangements, fire services , medical facilities were threadbare discussed in the meeting.

DC instructed all concerned to deploy necessary manpower and resources well in advance of the rally.

He stressed on ensuring adequate power and water supply, medical facilities, transportation, and traffic regulation, as well as cleanliness and sanitation at the venue.

DC also directed concerned security and police officials to prepare a comprehensive security and crowd management plan in coordination with the Army authorities.

He also emphasised the importance of seamless coordination among all stakeholder departments to ensure the successful conduct of the recruitment rally.

DC directed officials to ensure proper logistics, security, sanitation, traffic regulation, and public convenience throughout the event

Dr Bilal assured full support from the district administration for the smooth and successful execution of the recruitment rally and urged departments to maintain close liaison for effective coordination.

The meeting was attended by ADC Budgam, SP Headquarters Srinagar, ASP Budgam, Joint Director, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, SDM Chadoora, representatives from KPDCL Division-II Rajbagh, PWD Division Chadoora, and Jal Shakti (PHE) Division Chadoora, CMO, CEO, Budgam, Principal ITI Budgam, DYSP traffic rural, AD Fire and Emergency Services Budgam, ARTO Budgam, Assistant Secretary, J&K BOSE Budgam, Sub Divisional Officer, BSNL Barzulla Srinagar, representative of SSP Security Kashmir.
