Srinagar | : Police on Monday said that it has attached immovable property worth approximately ₹25 lakhs under the NDPS Act in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
In a statement issued from zonal Police headquarters Srinagar police said that the action taken by the police follows the registration of FIR No. 271/2022 under Sections 8/15 and 29 of the NDPS Act at the Budgam Police Station. Stating that the property involved is a shopping complex consisting of five shops located in Nasrullapora, owned by Parvez Ahmad Dar Police in its statement further said that the initiative is part of the police’s ongoing efforts to combat drug-related issues by targeting the financial networks of drug traffickers, appealing therein people to report any information regarding drug peddling or trafficking in their neighborhoods.
