Sanction letters under Mission YUVA distributed at Kupwara

Kupwara | :  District Administration Kupwara in collaboration with Lead District Bank Saturday organized a function at Lead Bank Office Kupwara to distribute sanction letters among the prospective beneficiaries under Mission YUVA Scheme.

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Mufti Fareed ud Din was chief guest on the occasion. Lead District Manager (LDM), Tariq Ahmad Jan; Cluster Head, Abdul Majid Bhat, besides Branch Heads and a large number of beneficiaries attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion, ADDC emphasized the importance of schemes like Mission YUVA in promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among the youth of the district. He encouraged the beneficiaries to make the best use of the opportunities provided under the scheme and contribute to the economic growth of the district. He urged them to use the loan amount exclusively on the targeted business, without wasting a single penny on any unproductive activities.

ADDC assured complete support to the beneficiaries from the district administration and the J&K Bank for addressing their issues in availing the financial assistance under Mission YUVA scheme. He appealed to the aspirants to take maximum benefit of the scheme by earning their livelihood with dignity.

LDM in his speech said that the function marked a crucial step towards achieving the goals of youth empowerment and financial inclusion in Kupwara district. He urged the beneficiaries to focus on their business and become successful entrepreneurs, being the first batch in the queue.  Cluster Head also spoke and motivated the prospective beneficiaries in establishing their business units by proper and sensible use of the financial assistance given by the Government.

It was given out that the beneficiaries will also be given a short term training course by RSETI Kupwara to upskill their business management for their success.

Meanwhile, 42 sanction letters were distributed among the beneficiaries for establishing their self employment generating units under Micro & Small Enterprises (MSE) sector of Mission YUVA scheme.

The beneficiaries who had come from different areas of Kupwara district interacted with the ADDC and other officers. They expressed their gratitude towards the government for launching the Mission YUVA initiative which provides them financial assistance and handholding in establishing their own business ventures.
