Hundreds of youth receive sanction letters; MD & CEO chairs G’bal event

Srinagar | : The J&K Government’s Mission YUVA initiative, aimed at empowering local youth through entrepreneurship and self-employment, saw significant activity as J&K Bank organized multiple Login Day events titled ‘Roz-e-YUVA’ in Kashmir and ‘Udyami YUVA Day’ in Jammu.

The events, held across various districts, facilitated the distribution of loan sanction letters to hundreds of young entrepreneurs, marking a crucial step in helping them establish their ventures. The Login Day events are set to occur weekly throughout the Mission YUVA period. The main event took place at Government Degree College, Ganderbal, featuring key figures such as MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee, Mission Director Shahzad Alam, and Deputy Commissioner Jatin Kishore. Chatterjee expressed his commitment to supporting youth entrepreneurship and highlighted the collaborative effort of the government and J&K Bank in ensuring the success of Mission YUVA. He emphasized that the initiative is not merely about disbursing loans but about investing in the future of young entrepreneurs and the region’s economic growth. Shahzad Alam praised the partnership with J&K Bank and acknowledged the event’s significance in the transformational journey of Mission YUVA. He noted that collective efforts are paving new pathways for progress. DC Jatin Kishore expressed gratitude for the event’s organization in Ganderbal and reiterated the commitment to promoting local culture and supporting artisans and entrepreneurs through credit linkage. General Manager Ashutosh Sareen informed participants about the benefits of the schemes under Mission YUVA, emphasizing the app-driven, hassle-free registration process. He encouraged youth participation to foster job creation. The event concluded with engaging interactions between dignitaries and beneficiaries, reinforcing J&K Bank’s role in promoting employment and entrepreneurship in the region. Similar programs were conducted in other districts, including Srinagar, Rajouri, and Kupwara, furthering the mission’s objectives.
