Srinagar : Police on Friday said that it has apprehended two notorious vehicle lifters in Pulwama and also recovered stolen bike from his possession.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that while acting on credible inputs a team from Police Station Pulwama launched a targeted operation following the investigation of case FIR No. 171/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS, resulting in the recovery of a stolen motorcycle bearing registration no JK13F/0492 . Stating that during the operation, the accused identified as Adil Ahmad Mir S/o Mohd Akbar and Sameer Ahmad Mir S/o Ab Ahad Mir, both residents of Rawalpora Khansahib, Budgam. were arrested Police In the concluding para of its above quoted statement said that this action reflects the continued efforts of J&K Police to curb vehicle theft and uphold public safety, reiterating therein its commitment to protect lives and property of people and appealing people also to report suspicious activities to the nearest police station without delay.
