Srinagar | : Police on Thursday said that it has solved a theft case in Khrew areas of Awantipora Police district.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the investigation of the said theft case was initiated after one Shabir Ahmad Bhat reported the theft to the Police Station Khrew on July 12, leading to the registration of FIR No. 54/2025. Stating that under the supervision of the Station House Officer (SHO) police conducted a thorough investigation, gathering local leads which led to the identification and arrest of a suspect, Zuhain Farooq Lone, who confessed to his involvement in the crime Police in its statement further said that the stolen property was recovered from the said accused and returned to its rightful owner after the completion of legal procedures.
