Srinagar |: Police in Ganderbal on Tuesday organized a Debate Competition at Government Higher Secondary School, Kangan, focusing on the theme “Sardar Patel’s Legacy Be Given More Emphasis in India’s Education.” This initiative was aimed to promote patriotic values and critical thinking among the youth. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across the Kangan Sub-Division, who articulated their views with passion and insight. Attendees included senior police officers, educationists, school faculty, and local dignitaries, who observed the dynamic exchange of ideas. Participants discussed various aspects of Sardar Patel’s legacy, emphasizing his contributions to national integration, administrative reforms, and the importance of instilling values of discipline, unity, and responsibility in the education system. At the event’s conclusion, cash prizes and appreciation certificates were awarded to the top three speakers.
