Jammu | : Cluster University of Jammu, in partnership with NIMS University, Jaipur, successfully conducted a two-day campus placement drive for the role of Female Admission Counsellors on July 14 and 15, 2025, at the School of Sciences.
The initiative was aimed to provide career opportunities for young female graduates and postgraduates, underscoring the university’s commitment to women’s empowerment and professional development. The recruitment process was overseen by representatives from NIMS University and NIMS Medical College & Hospital, including Mr. Deepak Kumar Gupta and Dr. Girraj Saini. A total of 25 female candidates from Cluster University were selected, each receiving an annual salary package of ₹3.0 lakhs, along with complimentary food and accommodation in Jaipur, enhancing the attractiveness of the opportunity. The formal distribution of offer letters took place in a ceremony led by Senior Professor KS Chandrasekar, Vice Chancellor of Cluster University of Jammu, celebrating the candidates’ accomplishments and the university’s ongoing efforts to improve student employability. This placement initiative, guided by Prof DS Manhas, Director of Placement, reflects the institution’s dedication to connecting academic learning with industry needs, fostering an environment where students can aspire to achieve and excel in their careers.
