Srinagar | : Police in Pulwama on Monday launched “Knowledge for Peace” Books Distribution Programme at GHSS Rajpora Pulwama as part of the CAP 2025-26 initiative.
The program involved distributing books to students and underprivileged children from various areas within the district, highlighting the police department’s commitment to community outreach aimed at fostering literacy and academic growth. SSP Pulwama, PD Nitya, underscored the critical role of education in cultivating a peaceful and progressive society. She articulated that by supporting students in their educational pursuits, the initiative seeks to foster an environment characterized by trust, opportunity, and mutual respect. The event saw participation from local teachers, community leaders, and police officials, all of whom expressed their support and appreciation for the initiative. Students who received the books conveyed their gratitude, noting that such support inspires them to engage more deeply in their studies.
