During the review, the ADGP emphasized the importance of discipline, coordination, and hospitality for all participants and guests. The cycle race is designed to be inclusive, welcoming schoolchildren, youth, amateur riders, and professional cyclists, with the goal of promoting fitness, sportsmanship, and community engagement among the youth in the Valley. Key logistical aspects discussed included security, traffic management, media coordination, medical support, and communication strategies to ensure the event’s smooth execution. The organizing team provided updates on route planning, safety measures, anticipated participation, and media coverage. The event is expected to attract significant interest and participation from across the Valley, highlighting the increasing enthusiasm for cycling and fitness activities among the local youth and sports enthusiasts. The review meeting included various officials including Rajiv Pandey, DIG CKR, and other senior officers from the J&K Police.
