Srinagar |: A police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO Police Station Pampore DySP (P) Shravan Singh under the supervision of SDPO Pampore alongwith officials of Excise Department on Saturday launched a special drive against wild cannabis and destroyed approximately 07 Kanals.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar police reiterated its commitment towards a drug-free society and appealed people to cooperate with law enforcing authorities, advising them therein not to share information about individuals or landowners involved in illegal cultivation of cannabis or poppy, so that strict legal action is taken against them.
