Srinagar | : Chief Spokesman J&K National Conference and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, alongside Health Minister Sakina Itoo on Saturday launched the “Allergy Alert 2025” campaign and the Asian Journal of Clinical Research & Practice at JLNM Hospital.
Addressing the event Tanvir Sadiq praised the hospital’s evolution into a center of clinical excellence and emphasized the growing public health concern of allergies, particularly in sensitive areas like Kashmir. He highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, public education, and regional research in addressing this issue. Sadiq committed to supporting the hospital’s initiatives, including plans for acquiring essential medical equipment and financial contributions from his Constituency Development Fund. He specifically mentioned the need to enhance the Allergy Department and improve healthcare infrastructure. Reflecting on JLNM Hospital’s 145-year history, he acknowledged the dedication of its medical staff and their vital role in serving the community. In addition to healthcare, Sadiq visited the Sufi Art Gallery in Gojwara, where he appreciated the artistic expressions that reflect Kashmir’s culture and resilience. He congratulated the organizer, Saika, for providing a platform for local artists and reiterated his commitment to cultural development. Sadiq announced plans to advocate for a dedicated art exhibition hall in Srinagar and to seek venues in his constituency for future cultural events. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with influential figures in the arts, recognizing their contributions to Kashmir’s cultural heritage.
