Govt orders transfer of 7 IAS officers in J&K

Ashish Heads Tourism, Sarmad Social Welfare, Mudgal Moved To Sports

Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday ordered the transfer and postings of seven IAS officers in the region.
According to an order issued from the General Administration Department (GAD) Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, IAS who was awaiting posting orders in the General Administration Department, has been appointed Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the Tourism Department. Alongside this role, he has been asked to also hold additional charge as Administrative Secretary of the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department until further orders.
Anil Kumar Singh, IAS currently Principal Secretary to the Social Welfare Department and also holding additional charge as Administrative Secretary of the Mining Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Public Works (R&B) Department. He will continue to hold his additional charge in the Mining Department.
Yasha Mudgal, IAS Commissioner/Secretary of the Tourism Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Youth Services and Sports Department.
Sarmad Hafeez, IAS presently Commissioner/Secretary to the Youth Services and Sports Department, has been posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Social Welfare Department.
Talat Parvez Rohella, IAS Secretary to the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, has been assigned as Chairman of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Jammu and Kashmir.
Bhupinder Kumar, IAS currently Secretary to the Public Works (R&B) Department and holding multiple additional charges including Director of Census Operations for J&K and Ladakh, has been transferred and posted as Resident Commissioner of the J&K Government in New Delhi. He will continue with additional responsibilities as Administrative Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department, and Director of Census Operations until further orders.
Ananth Dwivedi, IAS Chief Executive Officer of the State Health Agency and Mission Director of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission, has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary to the Revenue Department
