Poonch | : A preparatory meeting for the smooth conduct of Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 was held Thursday under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch Tahir Mustafa Malik.
The meeting was attended by the Nodal Officers for Lodgement Centres, along with representatives from various line departments, including Health, PHE, PWD, PDD, Municipality, Police and other allied services.
The ADC reviewed arrangements related to accommodation, sanitation, water supply, electricity, medical facilities, traffic management and security to ensure that all essential services are in place well ahead of the Yatra. Directions were issued to the concerned departments for timely completion of preparatory works and to maintain close coordination throughout the Yatra period.
The ADC emphasized the importance of inter departmental cooperation to facilitate a safe, comfortable and spiritually enriching experience for all pilgrims. He also stressed on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and round the clock support at all lodgement centres and halting points.
The administration reaffirmed its commitment to making the Yatra a smooth and successful event and appealed to the public and stakeholders for their active cooperation.
