Pulwama | : District Development Council (DDC) Pulwama Tuesday convened a comprehensive meeting here to finalize the District Capex Plan for the financial year 2025–26.
The meeting witnessed the presence of DDC members, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Pulwama, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Pulwama, Superintending Engineer (SE) Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Pulwama, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama, Executive Engineers from PHE Awantipora and R&B Pulwama/Awantipora, District Health Officer Pulwama, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Pulwama, Block Development Officers of various blocks, and other district and sectoral officers.
At the outset, the CPO Pulwama presented a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, detailing the sector-wise allocation of funds earmarked for various developmental works under the District Capex Plan.
During the meeting, DDC members actively highlighted key developmental concerns from their respective constituencies and put forth valuable suggestions aimed at improving the performance and delivery of various departments. A threadbare discussion was held on the Area Development Plan, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), and prioritization of critical infrastructure and welfare works.
After extensive deliberations, the DDC Council unanimously approved the Area Development Plan under the District Capex Budget 2025–26.
