Macadamization work begins on Tujjar Sharief to Zaingeer road B’la, People express gratitude to Javid Dar

Baramulla : Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmad Dar, Monday kick started the macadamization work on the Tujjar Sharif to Zaingeer road via Larkipora, Baramulla, connected to the Kupwara National Highway. This project has addressed the long-standing demand of the local residents.
Javid Dar emphasized the government’s commitment towards providing basic facilities to the public, highlighting the importance of infrastructure development in enhancing the quality of life for the residents. The Omar Abdullah Government’s aim to improve road connectivity, a crucial aspect of rural development, facilitating easier access to markets, healthcare and other essential services, he added.
The Minister said the execution of works has been initiated and all the pending roads will be macadamized in a phased manner. There will be no compromise with the quality of works while ensuring time bound completion of all the vital projects.
The locals apprised the Minister of lack of other basic facilities, seeking his intervention in redress of the same.
The Minister assured the people that all their genuine demands would be fulfilled at the earliest.
Senior officers from different department and larger number of local residents were present on the occasion.
