Srinagar: The police have established dedicated Grievance Cells and Helplines in Anantnag, Budgam, Baramulla, and Sopore to assist families affected by terrorism.
The initiative aims to streamline the registration and resolution of grievances for these individuals. In Anantnag, the helpline is located at the District Police Office, with the contact number 01932-222870 available for victims and their families. In Budgam, the helpline can be reached at 9541902668, also situated at the District Police Office and operational from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Baramulla has set up its helpline at the District Police Headquarters, where affected individuals can contact 95419-40261 for support via voice call, SMS, or WhatsApp on all working days during the same hours. Sopore’s helpline is available at the District Police Headquarters, with two contact numbers: 9596773073 and 01954222313, also operational from 10 AM to 6 PM on working days. The Jammu and Kashmir Police are committed to providing comprehensive support and will ensure that the information gathered is shared with relevant authorities for appropriate action.
